Well, that was way too fast! I'm finished with the slippers.
They look good, and were so easy to make.
She likes blues and greens and I just happened to have those colours in my stash.
The pattern can be found here Granny Slippers
Now I just need to mail them to her in time for her birthday.
Now on to the next project, which is ... I don't know yet. I have to look at my yarn and see what it wants to become. Maybe look at some patterns and see what inspires me.

I finished the poncho, turns out I didn't have as much left to do as I thought I did.
It turned out pretty nice, if I do say so my self.
I didn't follow the pattern exactly because I used one colour instead of three, and I didn't double the yarn. I also added extra rows to the pattern to make it longer and left off the fringe (otherwise my cat would attack me every time I wore it). I still need to block it because the bottom rolls up, other than that it is finished and ready to be worn.
3 Colour Poncho
I'm now on to a pair of slippers for my sister, her birthday is coming up soon and I thought that they'd make a nice gift for her.

The end of March
So March snuck by me like a mouse.
I finished a lot of projects (for swaps) that I had on my plate.
I made several scrunchies (or hair ties as I prefer to call them). I also made more headbands, some granny squares, fridgies (magnets) and an ear warmer. I swapped these with freinds for what they have made. It's fun, and best of all it keeps me out of trouble and off the streets! ;-)
Here is the ear warmer I made; you can find the pattern here Granny Stripe Headband/Earwarmer and the flower is from this pattern Cozy Flowered Headband
These are the hair ties I made
# 1: Picot Scrunchie
# 2: Party Hair Scrunchie
# 3 Baby Pompadour Scrunchie
How about these fridgies? Aren't they cute!
Cream Filled Cookie Fridgie
Crochet Flower Fridgies
Easter Egg Fridgie and my favorite so far Bathing Suit Fridgies
Lastly, during the month of March came my granny squares - got to love those squares!
Cornered Hearts Square
Fisherman's Ring Square Butterfly Garden Square Basic Granny Square
6 inch:
12 inch
There you have it; all my work for the month.
Now I'll get back to the poncho I keep putting off, I'm just not that inspired by it any more, but keep hoping that it'll grow on me, again, as I go along. You ever have one of those projects that you start and then realize that you just don't like it as much as you thought you did?
I need more projects to work on. I chose not to do any swaps this month, just hope I don't get too bored!
